Who am I ?
Welcome to Blue Lotus Fitness. I’m Shaz Mirtolooi (CSCS) - Post Rehabilitation Expert, Personal Trainer and Nutritional Consultant. Fitness was a passion, my outlet for personal development, until I turned it into a profession. With over 7 years experience helping individuals manifest their desires - turning imagination into reality, I can't think of a more enriching way to live my life.
I live in the sunny paradise of Sarasota, Florida - right down the road from Siesta Key Beach (#1 beach in America). I work full time with clients locally and at a distance. I have the pleasure of working with unique, wonderful people all over the world. I know... I have the best job!
Why Blue Lotus Fitness ?
Blue Lotus Fitness was developed to empower individuals to have a conscious role in their fitness, health and well-being; to direct themselves toward their desired outcome.
A training and nutrition plan that is comfortably applied to our lifestyles and provides measurable results is incredibly simple to maintain. If that is true, how come so many people fall short of their fitness goals?
Simply, because we have been misinformed and led to believe that ideal fitness is more complicated than it actually is.
It can be challenging to sort through so much information only then to apply it and see if it works. This process of trial and error can take a lot of time and energy. More often than not it’s a reason why people settle for mediocre results. This process has frustrated and burned out many fitness enthusiasts.
I went through a similar process for years-spending a lot of time spinning my wheels, setting abstract goals without a targeted strategy to meet them. Until my frustration forced me to learn the fundamental science of exercise and nutrition, so I could apply that to my own development.
That turning point in my life sparked my passion to help other people manifest their desires: to clear through the huge amounts of B.S. exercise and nutrition information that ingrain us with misconceptions, half-truths and fallacies.
At the end of the day, the responsibility always comes back to us as individuals. It is our responsibility to take care of our body, mind and well-being.
